Two Haikus and the Third Sonnet
I. Haiku I
All the lights go out.
Mother holds breast to love you.
You give in to trust.
II. Haiku II
My reign expands over
the chasm of scrutiny,
launching past you, wimp!
III. Sonnet III
The geisha ticked the wall clock
in hopes of marrying time.
She stood there, waiting in line,
dreaming of thumping the rock.
Geisha slept under a block,
waiting for love, perhaps rhymes.
She insisted on carrying lies,
the unfeasible tasks of tocks.
Will I take off my many masks
or they eject me instead?
In nuisance, refuse to bask?
Pry the algorithm, hags.
I refuse to remain ahead
since victory equals jack.
